Working Principles
The YTO XB agitation tank operates on the principle of mechanical agitation. The electric motor drives the vertical shaft and impeller to rotate at a constant speed through the gear reducer. As the impeller rotates, it creates a powerful downward flow that draws slurry from the bottom of the tank and propels it upward, creating a continuous circulation pattern throughout the vessel. This turbulent flow ensures that solid particles remain suspended in the liquid phase and that chemical reagents are thoroughly mixed with the slurry. For flotation conditioning applications, an optional air inflation system introduces fine air bubbles into the slurry, preparing it for the subsequent flotation process.
